The station will also feature sounds such as amapiano and 3-step, giving African music a dedicated presence within GTA 6’s radio lineup. The album will feature 34 original tracks from artists across different genres.
Rockstar has also said that more information is coming about the game’s dynamic score and additional singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album .
Country, metal and pop stations also confirmed
GTA 6 is getting six new radio stations. For the first time in the series, GTA 6 will also let players listen to radio and podcasts on foot using newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to Jason and Lucia’s smartphones. Here are the six stations Rockstar has revealed so far: Cocoteo FM Modern Latin music, including bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton Back Country Radio Renegade country music AfroBank FM African music spanning classics, contemporary sounds, amapiano and 3-step The Chamber 106.6 Metal from different eras Flash FM Pop music Dirty South Classics Regional rap and hip-hop classics Cocoteo FM will focus on modern Latin music, with El Martillo and La Gata hosting. Metal fans will tune in to The Chamber 106.6, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. Alongside the six radio stations, GTA 6 will introduce on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia.
Six more radio stations will be available in Leonida, which include Latin songs, African music, country, metal, pop, and Southern rap, among others, according to Rockstar Games. Moreover, the highly anticipated game will also offer on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia. The six stations are part of what Rockstar calls the biggest and widest-ranging in-game radio selection yet in the Grand Theft Auto series. Players can listen to radio stations while driving, and podcasts can also be enjoyed outside vehicles. Its playlist will cover genres including bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. The station is described as Leonida’s destination for Latin music, with its hosts promising a party atmosphere that never stops. AfroBank FM will explore African music across different periods and styles. Burna and Palmsy will host the station, with its selection covering 20th-century classics, lesser-known tracks and contemporary genres. Back Country Radio will serve the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and surrounding areas with renegade country music. MW and Delta Dawne will host the station, with appearances from a roving reporter, swamp meteorologist and Delta’s lover Mud Dog Mike. The station will feature metal anthems spanning decades and draw on Leonida’s metal scene. Flash FM will return as the Vice City pop-music institution. Robyn and Alex will host the station, which will bring pop tracks to locations across the Goodtime State. Meanwhile, Dirty South Classics, hosted by Trick and Trina, will focus on regional rap and hip-hop classics, connecting the station’s music to Leonida and the wider American South. These will give players another way to experience audio content while exploring Leonida.
