Meanwhile, barricading of the darshan queue inside Shetkari Sangh building has been completed. Additional lights, coolers, high-capacity fans and drinking water facilities are being arranged along the queue. A special Hirkani Kaksh for lactating mothers is also being set up.

A Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti official said that temporary high-resolution CCTV cameras are being installed to strengthen security, while large LED screens are being erected at prominent city squares to facilitate live darshan for devotees unable to enter the crowded temple. District Collector Dr Vijay Rathod, who is acting president of Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti, said, “Given the backdrop of drought conditions and the prevailing code of conduct, the Dasara festival will be celebrated with simplicity this year. “Planning has been done at various levels to ensure that the Navaratra festival is celebrated with devotion and spiritual fervour, while providing devotees with safe and convenient darshan,” he said.
