Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl suffering from health problems was pushed into Hussainsagar by her mother due to financial issues on Thursday. An auto driver rescued the girl, and police shifted her to Gandhi Hospital. A case was booked against the mother.
On the complaint of Domalguda constable Shamsheer Hussaini, police booked a case under section 109 (attempt to murder) against the girl’s mother, a widow from Hasmathpet area in Bowenpally. Police also located the mother, who said that due to poor financial condition and desperate circumstances, she resorted to the extreme step.
