A passenger on a Mumbai-Delhi flight expressed concerns about protesters causing inconvenience after landing
“Public is inconvenienced due to a few people like this.
If there is a problem, we will protest – will that help?” the passenger said. A video shared by the party showed Dipke challenging the police to arrest him, while slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Inquilab Zindabad” were raised during the confrontation. If the names of people have been wrongfully deleted, Supreme Court will look into it. They (protesters) are not going to look into it. Shut down Courts if public will do everything. There is a system which we follow, shut down that system. The passenger’s account comes after Delhi Police detained Dipke and CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka at Indira Gandhi International Airport after they arrived from Mumbai. Delhi Police had denied permission for the planned demonstration, citing law-and-order and public safety concerns. The proposed protest triggered extensive security arrangements across the capital, including barricades, deployment of police and paramilitary personnel, and restrictions on transport services.
