Becky Lynch was previously seen on the October 5 episode of WWE Raw , where she faced Liv Morgan in a match to determine the next challenger for the Women’s World Championship, and before the match, it is believed she sustained the injury. It’ll be a fight, but there’s no—you’re not falling from 10 feet off a ladder through another ladder. Rollins confirmed that the Morgan match was Lynch’s first bout back after the vertebra injury.
Rollins said he is relieved Lynch is not competing in one of the actual Money in the Bank ladder matches, that actually escalate the situation to be more critical. He added, “And now, luckily, she’s not in these ladder matches, which, you know, that I—that would be like full-on clenched, but like she’s—she’s just in the triple threat. Um, it’ll be physical. As per reports, Lynch will be next seen in the upcoming Money in the Bank match, and her injury adds another dimension to her championship pursuit as she prepares to compete against Morgan and Vaquer.
She returned to action on Monday Night RAW against Liv Morgan, engaging back into the Women’s World Championship picture almost immediately after getting cleared.
