'We need better jobs. We will …' — Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal: The wider industry impact

Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has said he hopes the future brings better job opportunities, responding to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that asked whether everyone would become a delivery worker in the next 15 years. In an X post, the user had written, “In 15 years 100%.

Replying to the post, Deepinder Goyal said, “I hope not. Everyone will be a delivery boy. Yes? No?” along with scooter emojis. We need better jobs. We will look forward to moving to drones when we don’t have enough people for the job…. The exchange comes amid a wider discussion about the future of work and how technology could change jobs in the delivery sector.

“Six colors for the launch edition of @temple,” Goyal wrote in the post adding “Pre-orders open soon – hopefully next week; just need certainty on a couple more items. ” He further stated that pre-orders are expected to open soon, adding the company is aiming for next week but is waiting for clarity on a few remaining details.

Earlier this month, Goyal teased colour models of the upcoming Temple device, revealing six colours.

Goyal said the smaller design makes Temple the smallest wearable on the market by volume, while also claiming it is the most powerful.
