The installation of underground cable networks will be carried out under projects worth Rs 471.9 crore awarded by Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (MGVCL) to Rajesh Power Services Ltd, the company announced on Monday. Ahmedabad: Gujarat will see upgrades to existing 11kV overhead electricity lines, as part of the Gujarat Wire-free City and State Mission of the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The company said the contracts would take its aggregate order book close to Rs 4,000 crore, adding more than 10% to its existing order book.
Kurang Panchal, chairman and managing director of Rajesh Power Services Ltd, said the contracts would expand the company’s project pipeline and strengthen business visibility. The company said it would focus on execution, operational efficiency, quality and safety while pursuing further opportunities in power transmission and distribution infrastructure. The contract value includes taxes.
