Kottayam: In connection with the Nehru Trophy Boat Race, there will be traffic restrictions in Alappuzha city from 9am. As the construction works of district court bridge are also underway, KSRTC buses will not be allowed into Alappuzha stand from 1pm to 6pm.

KSRTC buses coming from the Ernakulam side should turn towards east from Shavakkottappalam North Junction, reach private bus stand via Mattancherry Bridge and Vazhicheri Bridge, drop off passengers, and then proceed to the southern side via YMCA Junction and General Hospital Junction. KSRTC buses coming from the Kollam side should reach private bus stand via General Hospital Junction and YMCA Junction, drop off passengers, and then proceed towards the Ernakulam side via Shavakkottappalam South Junction. Among the KSRTC buses coming along the Alappuzha-Changanassery road, those that need to end their journey at Alappuzha Stand should reach Pazhaveedu and Kottaram Junction from Kaithavana Junction, drop off passengers, and then return via General Hospital South Junction and Changanassery Junction.
