Unlike in the past, when swayamsevaks marched from Reshimbagh immediately before the annual Vijayadashami programme on the same morning, RSS has preponed the processions this year. The annual Vijayadashami programme at Reshimbagh on Tuesday will feature RSS chief Bhagwat’s customary address, with Dainik Jagran editor-in-chief Sanjay Gupta attending as chief guest.

The nine marches will cover all 12 organisational divisions (bhags) of Nagpur, with some divisions joining hands for combined processions depending on participation. Each route will cover an average distance of 2.75km. The marches will originate from Kachhi Visa Maidan in Mohite Bhag, Chitnis Park in Itwari, Ekta Nagar Colony ground for Lalganj-Binaki-Sadar, Marartoli ground for Gittikhadan-Dharampeth, Atre Layout ground in Trimurti Nagar, Chhatrapati Nagar ground in Somalwada, Kalode College in Ajni, Pushpa Lawn in Ayodhya Bhag and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Shrikrishna Nagar.
