Is Saquon Barkley fit enough to take the field for the Philadelphia Eagles as the team prepares to go against the Carolina Panthers?
Though the Philadelphia Eagles started the new season strong with two consecutive victories, narrowly defeating the Washington Commanders (24–22) and the Tennessee Titans (24–20), they have since suffered three straight defeats. The team has now recorded consecutive losses against the Chicago Bears (7–27), the Los Angeles Rams (20–24), and the Jacksonville Jaguars (17–19). The Philadelphia Eagles’ star player Saquon Barkley suffered the injury during the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams which forced him to miss the subsequent London game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The team have officially ruled him out for today’s Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers due to a right hamstring injury. He missed every single team practice session leading up to today’s game due to his hamstring injury.
A few days ago, the Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni reflected on Saquon Barkley’s situation as he said the star player will “do everything he can do to get himself back. Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni added, “Obviously, he’s a great player and a great teammate,” Sirianni said. “We always need him on the field.”
The Philadelphia Eagles have recorded a slow run on the field in the new season as the team battles through an injury plagued roster. Ahead of the clash against the Carolina Panthers, all eyes remain on Saquon Barkley. On the defensive front, outside linebacker A.J. Epenesa (back) is officially out while center Drew Kendall (knee) remains the team’s only active questionable player on the report. Saquon Barkley did not practice at all this week.
