IAF’s Air Show-2026 in Kashi: VMC Starts Placing Loud-hailers for crowd management
To monitor the preparations intensified by VMC for the proposed show, municipal commissioner Himanshu Nagpal inspected arrangements for visitors, residents and VIPs. Directional signage was placed from Namo Ghat to Samne Ghat and on key lanes and approach roads, showing ghat names and arrows to guide tourists.
All major ghats are being linked with the public address system. Senior officials will use microphones and handheld units to issue instructions, manage movement and prevent crowding. Mobile toilets, portable toilets and dustbins are being installed near the venue and adjoining areas, while medical teams will remain on alert. Sanitation inspectors have been assigned separate zones for coordination with other departments.
