When your father is one of the biggest names in rock music, it’s easy to imagine the family legacy being centered around guitar and a stage. But not every child of a star follows the spotlight; some chase their own path into adulthood. For Bruce Springsteen and his wife, Patti Scialfa, it was all about being proud when their youngest son, Sam, chose a job that asks him to run toward danger when most people run away. The Cape May County Herald covered the rescue. Sam grew up in a famous household, but his parents say music was never forced on their children.
