With the victory, he will now face his former mentor, Randy Orton, who won the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber match, at WrestleMania 42. Last week on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre in dramatic fashion to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship for the third time. The duo will meet in the ring to sign the contract for their title match, and it is expected to be a must-see segment considering the history between both superstars.
WWE SmackDown will broadcast its March 13 episode from the Mortgage Matchup Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The road to WrestleMania 42 is heating up and took a dramatic turn with the coronation of a new World Champion, which will see an exciting segment this week on the blue brand. Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes will sign the contract for their WrestleMania 42 match Jade Cargill vs. At the same time, it can be expected that her WrestleMania 42 opponent, Rhea Ripley, will make her presence felt during or after the match.
Plus, a non-title match is set to take place, and an appearance from music sensation Jelly Roll will happen. He even wrestled a match at the show and is now set to return to WWE with an appearance on SmackDown this week. The Miz took to his social media to reveal that Jelly Roll will be the guest on his in-ring talk show, MizTV, which will be an exciting segment to watch out for. Jade Cargill has had Michin luring in her shadows for a long time, most recently last week in a backstage encounter. The Storm will square off against her in a non-title singles match.
Michin- Singles match Jelly Roll was a part of the WWE television programming on the road to SummerSlam last year.
