Lucknow: The UP Skill Development Mission has decided to expand its ‘Blue DotsAI’ digital employment platform across all 18 divisions of the state, an official spokesperson said on Thursday.
An AI-powered voice bot is a key feature of the initiative. Employers and industry associations will be able to register recruitment requirements by speaking in Hindi, English or other regional languages.

The expansion aims to bridge the gap between skill training and industry requirements by bringing trained candidates and employers onto a common digital platform,” UPSDM mission director Pulkit Khare said after signing a memorandum of understanding with One Step Foundation in this regard. “The MoU, operational since Jun, will formally integrate the initiative with its skill development programme,” Khare said, informing that the platform uses digital maps to display nearby job vacancies and skilled candidates. “During a pilot in Ghaziabad, more than 25,000 jobs within a 20–25 km radius were made searchable,” he recalled. Officials said the platform will initially focus on jobs in micro, small and medium enterprises, manufacturing and retail, including positions for welders, electricians, machine operators and workers in apparel and food and beverage industries.
“The platform connects jobseekers with local vacancies and help industries find candidates matching their requirements.
