Long hot baths can be soothing, but they can dry out the skin. Use lukewarm water and make bath time fun for the kids. For regular cleaning, use an age-appropriate and gentle body wash. Avoid harsh soap and rubbing the skin with a towel after the shower. Kids don’t need a complex skincare routine; you can keep it simple by introducing a few products such as face wash, body wash, moisturiser and sunscreen with ingredients that are gentle on the young skin. Avoid adding multiple new products at one time, as it may be difficult to determine what caused the child’s irritation. Healthy skin care for kids does not need to be complicated or include many products. Bathing, moisturising, sun protection, good food and selecting the right skin-care products can be done everyday to keep their skin healthy.
