Lucknow: The department of social welfare will soon start using artificial intelligence for work like drafting letters, preparing file notings and drafts, summarising reports, translating and creating presentations.
Deputy director of the department Anand Kumar Singh said implementation of e-office will help in better management of human resources, transparency in govt schemes, identification of beneficiaries and better coordination among various departments. “Use of a digital system will help speed up the disposal of files and make administrative work more organised,” he said.
