Bengaluru : Investigations into the death of a man, who was initially suspected to have died due to heart attack, have taken an intriguing turn with his autopsy revealing that he had died following a head injury caused during a fight.

There was a heated argument between the two over the tariff, according to Pruthviraj. There were few more auto drivers with Pruthviraj when the incident took place and we are looking for them,” an investigating officer said. Later on the same day, he had died. Later, we traced the auto and its driver Pruthviraj. Sri Ram had asked Pruthviraj for a ride and did not agree to the price quoted by him. Saying he will catch another auto, Sri Ram walked away. Angered over the refusal, Pruthviraj followed him and attacked. Sri Ram sustained internal head injuries when Pruthviraj pushed him to the ground.

Sri Ram never disclosed the fact that he had fallen unconscious following the fight, according to police. His family noticed injury marks on his body and approached the jurisdictional police from Annapoorneshwarinagar station, saying they suspect foul play.
