Kanpur: Traffic police have announced diversions around Bithoor for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ’s visit to Kanpur on Monday.
Heavy vehicles arriving from Bithoor Tiraha Kalyanpur, Singhpur Chauraha and Ganga Barrage cannot travel from Yash Kothari Chauraha towards Bithoor Kasba or Chungi Chauraha. They will be diverted through Yash Kothari, Blue Bird Tiraha and Mandhana . Heavy vehicles from Mandhana will proceed from Blue Bird Tiraha through Yash Kothari towards Ganga Barrage or Bithoor Tiraha Kalyanpur. Vehicles from Kannauj, Bilhaur and Chaubepur Kasba will be diverted through Chaubepur Underpass and Mandhana instead of Shani Chauraha and Bithoor Kasba. Heavy vehicles from Unnao Pariyar Ganga Bridge will be diverted from Unnao and will not be allowed to proceed towards Bithoor Kasba. Buses and smaller vehicles attending the programme may use designated parking areas.
Restrictions will remain in force from midnight on Sunday until the conclusion of the programme on Monday.

Buses, cars and motorcycles may park at Shatabdi Vihar on Chaubepur Road and Pariyar Road, Nagar Panchayat parking at Shanidev Chauraha and Chungi Chauraha, and along Mandhana Road between Chungi Chauraha and Gurukul Ashram. Additional parking for cars and motorcycles will be available at Jayanti Palace on Ramel Nagar Bithoor Road and the vacant ground near Janki Chadhaiyan. Download the TOI App.
