Mangaluru : The family of a 41-year-old Mangaluru native working in Israel has sought the Indian Embassy’s intervention after being unable to contact him since Oct 16. During his last video call with the family at 8.05pm, Shadrak was reportedly seen at a park in Nof HaGalil featuring palm and date trees. His last text message was recorded shortly afterwards, at 8.49pm.

“From Beersheba, there was a search to a place called Hebron,” Jonathan said. Jonathan said there was a “protest going on regarding elections”. Shadrak Emmanuval, employed with UCT Liquid Solutions, was residing and working in Nof HaGalil, near Nazareth. His family suspects he may have travelled elsewhere on the day he went missing. The family also found searches related to Hebron in his browsing history. The family fears Shadrak may have been caught up in local unrest. The family alleged it had received no concrete updates and was awaiting official assistance. It is ready to provide his passport, visa and communication records to aid the search.
