New Delhi: Traffic will be diverted from 10 am to noon due to a VIP movement in central Delhi Tuesday, cops said.
Diversions will be at ITO Chowk, Delhi Gate, Guru Nanak Chowk, Shantivan Chowk, Rajghat DTC Depot and IP Flyover during the two-hour period, according to an advisory issued by Delhi Traffic Police . Traffic police said the measures would be enforced as required, depending on the prevailing situation on the roads. Commuters travelling through these busy stretches are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow sufficient time to reach their destinations. Commuters are advised to follow traffic advisories, road signs and directions issued by personnel deployed at the affected stretches. Use of public transport wherever possible is encouraged. Motorists are advised to park only in designated parking areas and avoid roadside parking, which could impede traffic movement during the arrangements.
