WWE was in Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, for the October 26 episode of Monday Night RAW. The show was originally supposed to feature a No.1 contender match; instead, it delivered a title match that ended in chaos. On the other hand, WWE announced that John Cena is returning to RAW next week, alongside delivering some other exciting matches and segments for the night.
This was an impromptu Undisputed WWE Title match made after Sami Zayn interrupted Adam Pearce in the opening segment and Je’Von Evans joined the fray, leading to their bout. The Young OG made the most of his opportunity and left it all in the ring with a chance to win his first-ever World title. However, Bron Breakker and Penta’s altercation at ringside distracted Evans and allowed Zayn to hit the Helluva Kick to retain his title. After the match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed destroyed Penta and Evans. This was a no-disqualification match between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. With such heated tensions prevailing for months, both women made full use of the stipulation and destroyed each other with hard-hitting moves and foreign objects. The match concluded with Bayley using a kendo stick to apply a crossface on Valkyria, and she tapped out. This was a non-title singles match. IYO Sky and Raquel Rodriguez delivered a stellar match for the audience, and SKY countered the Tejana Bomb with a small package to pick up the win. However, she was ambushed by Roxanne Perez after the match.
Originally, Becky Lynch was supposed to battle Stephanie Vaquer for the No.1 contender’s spot. However, Adam Pearce announced in the start of the show that she was not medically cleared and changed it to a WWE Women’s World title match between Lynch and the champion, Liv Morgan. This was a tag team match that saw both sides engage in an exciting wrestling encounter. However, the final moments saw Big Cass hit a big boot on Lee, and Ethan Page hit an Ego Plex to seal the win for his team. They delivered a captivating main event showdown, yet it ended in a DQ win for Lynch as Judgment Day attacked her. However, Chelsea Green came to her aid and laid out Morgan. Tiffany Stratton then came out and was almost close to cashing in her MITB contract before Dominik Mysterio saved Morgan, and the other three women stood tall.
