The Ahmedabad district education officer (DEO) has issued a notice: The wider industry impact

The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad district education officer (DEO) has issued a notice to Natraj High School in Odhav for delaying salary-related proposals for 11 employees. The school has been directed to submit the pending files and an explanation within a day.

The notice to Natraj High School and the findings against the 10 schools could lead to further action if the institutions fail to address the violations. The DEO office found that the school had not submitted files for the full salaries of five employees eligible for the benefit. It had also failed to submit proposals for higher pay scales for six eligible employees. The delay has held up service-related financial benefits for the employees. The DEO has asked the school management and principal to submit all pending documents within the stipulated deadline. The inspection drive is part of the DEO office’s scrutiny of school operations and compliance with official requirements.
