The couple faced another reason to be cautious when Wyatt was six months old and the COVID-19 pandemic began. “Being the germaphobe that I am and also the unknown with a 6-month-old in your house, we locked it down pretty fast. Kylie and Jason are parents to Wyatt, seven, Elliotte, five, Bennett, three, and Finnley, 18 months.

Kylie asked relatives not to kiss the baby’s face, head or hands, and said they respected her wishes. “I asked people not to kiss her face or her head or her hands and everybody listened,” she said after thinking about the question for a brief moment. “[Our] squad is very respectful about the fact that they have raised their grown children and that this is an opportunity for them to be fun, loving grandparents and supportive,” Kylie continued. Kylie said the uncertainty surrounding the virus led them to tighten precautions, particularly around travel. Kylie praised both sides of the family for understanding their role as grandparents without challenging her and Jason’s decisions as parents. “We actually made out like thieves on this one. We were very careful,” she explained. “That was the time where we set boundaries just in terms of like travel and things like that. “Everyone understands the assignment. So, we really lucked out. Kylie has become more selective about sharing pictures of their daughters online Although they sometimes discuss family life publicly. “I overall want to ensure my kids’ safety, and that’s always going to be the top priority. Kylie has also considered how her daughters might feel when they grow older and discover years of personal moments preserved online. She wants them to have more control over their own digital lives. Her approach reflects a balance between welcoming family support and protecting her children’s boundaries. For Kylie, having relatives who listen has made that balance easier to maintain.
