Streetwear has received a new assignment as Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, the ex-Aide-de-Camp to the President of India and an army officer, has now collaborated with a fashion brand for their new streetwear collection. The collaboration brings together elements of military aesthetics and youth fashion from the brand. In particular, this collaboration will appeal to fans of bold fashion, laid-back silhouettes, and statement casual wear.

In March 2023, he took up the position of Additional Private Secretary to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, which brought him success with several notable actions and events. Because of family obligations, in August-September 2026, he stepped down from his position, which undeniably became the hardest step on his way. The Maj Rishabh (Retd.) x Bonkers collection is made up of five products that include textile items that can be altered based on the design, e.g., wrinkle-free shirts available in three colours at discounted prices, i.e., a Black Stardust Zip Hoodie and a Paisley Canvas Jacket. The partnership aligns with the strategy of authenticity in the brand’s strategy. Major Sambyal has also been featured with names such as Shubham Gupta, the brand’s founder, Namita Thapar, and Anushka Sen in a campaign that tackles counterfeits. This partnership is indicative of the brand’s approach to business, whereby they utilise famous personalities and important cultural moments to promote affordable but luxurious products to the buyers. The collaboration between these two different worlds is what is catching the attention of the audience. The collection can be found on the website, where consumers can check out all the items presented in the special section dedicated to Major Rishabh.
