What else is included in the update
The Warden gets smoother recoil and reduced spread on follow-up shots, while Clove’s Pick-me-up movement-speed bonus drops from 15% to 10%.
The character from Guangdong province can redirect abilities in midair, pull players out of position and suspend them above the ground, according to the patch notes. Valorant’s latest update introduces Hush, an agent with telekinetic abilities. Her passive also lets her collect weapons and interact with switches from farther away. The update brings balance changes alongside the new agent. Ability descriptions, status indicators and competitive scoring information have also been revised. These changes also include fixes for abilities that reveal player locations, persist between rounds, or affect unintended targets. Hush’s Telekinesis passive increases the range at which she can pick up weapons and interact with switches. On the attacking side, she can also collect the Spike from farther away. Displacement pulls all players within its effect towards the centre of an explosion. Players who collide with a surface or another player are concussed. Hush can redirect the ability towards her crosshair after throwing it, and it resets after every two kills. Flashbulb can similarly be redirected in flight. It detonates on contact with a surface or after a delay, flashing all players looking at it. Flow creates an anchor that Hush moves towards after a delay. Activating it while airborne briefly allows her to levitate. Suspension sends a steerable ability forward that, when detonated, levitates all affected players. Ability tooltips now display information such as agent, role, and keybinds more clearly. Additional passive descriptions appear in Agent Select, the Agent Hub, and relevant tooltips. Competitive changes give an Act’s best match greater influence over Map Rating and raise the threshold for earning the First Blood Accolade. The patch notes also caution that Hush’s Performance Scores may fluctuate initially while the game evaluates her ability use. Bug fixes address Raze’s Boom Bot tracking enemies after teleportation, Tejo’s Special Delivery carrying into another round, and Chamber’s and Omen’s positions briefly appearing on enemy minimaps after teleporting. Console players also get controller vibration feedback restored when equipping or casting Miks’ M-Pulse and Bassquake. You use AI every day. Now get your AI Quotient. Take the AIQ test.
Previously earned accolades remain unaffected.
The Warden’s adjustments aim to improve its handling and versatility at its existing price of 2,900. Vertical recoil has been smoothed for the opening bullets, while the second-bullet error value drops from 0.25 to 0.2 and the third-bullet value falls from 0.6 to 0.5. These reductions make follow-up shots more accurate. Clove’s changes extend beyond the lower movement speed bonus. Defeating Clove after they cast Not Dead Yet now awards the opposing player an ultimate point and a signature refresh point. The patch also introduces Haste as the official term for increased movement speed. It is distinguished from Combat Stim, which improves firing, equipping, reloading, and recovery speeds.
