Kanpur: Intermittent rain due to the impact of cyclonic storm ‘Arnab’ led to a sharp drop in temperature in Kanpur Nagar on Friday.
The CSA weather observatory recorded the maximum temperature at 23.6 degrees Celsius, 7.1 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature, however, settled at 21 degrees Celsius, above normal. Easterly winds blew at speeds of 9.2 to 34.2 kmph and maximum relative humidity was recorded at 88%.
Weather expert at CSA University, S N Sunil Pandey, said rainl would gradually decrease from Saturday morning (Oct 31) and predicted a gradual rise in temperature with bright sunshine from Sunday onwards.
