Police officials said that in case there are any queries or suggestions for the police, citizens can comment about the same. Police officials said that they have always laid emphasis on taking feedback from citizens in various aspects of policing. With the city police now engaged in traffic diversions and restrictions in different parts of the city against the backdrop of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, the police have appealed to the citizens to provide suggestions on how the traffic can be managed effectively. Against the backdrop of the Kumbh events in Nashik and the rush of devotees arriving at the Ramkund area, the city police have started uploading short videos on social media platforms about the parking areas for devotees and the routes they have to take to reach the place of the event. If the police find them feasible, the inputs can be included in their plan.
Ahead of ‘Dhwajarohan’ (flag hoisting) event taking place on Saturday, the Nashik city police, as per the direction of CP Sandeep Karnik, have made short and crisp videos about the pedestrian routes for devotees, the parking areas for them and the roads that would be closed on account of the grand event.
