Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson Reportedly Split a Year Ago (Instagram)
Belichick is 73. Hudson was born in 2001. 1 Miami on Saturday, and the question of what the two are to each other has trailed the program all fall. TMZ reports the relationship ended in late 2025. That came months after The New York Times said in May 2025 that Hudson had told at least one person she and Belichick were engaged. Her Instagram post from May 2 shows the pair holding hands at the Kentucky Derby, with the caption “Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together.
Neither has announced a split, and nothing public has contradicted the report. Nobody from either camp has confirmed a breakup, and what fans could actually see pointed the other way.
Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have reportedly been over for about a year, according to TMZ, yet Hudson has kept turning up on the North Carolina sideline this season. Her last Instagram post with him came in May, and she still works beside him as his brand manager. UNC plays No. Hudson was at UNC games this year. “
The two met on a flight in 2021. By the time the reported split came, Hudson was already a fixture in his professional life, which probably explains why her game-day presence never set off alarms.
Hudson works as a manager for Belichick’s own business operations, and reports have long said she never held an official UNC role. Last year the school said she was welcome at the football facilities and would keep managing his personal brand. The professional link is easier to document than the personal one. That statement followed UNC’s denial of a podcast report, from Pablo Torre Finds Out, that she had been banned from the building.
Hudson has drawn far less attention in 2026, and the team has given reporters plenty else to cover. UNC is 4-3 through seven games, and its win over No. 25 Pitt was Belichick’s first ranked victory at the school.
Miami, the top-ranked team in the country, is next.
