He said addressing public grievances and providing timely relief to people remained among the government’s foremost priorities. He also spoke to officials of various departments on the phone during the programme and directed them to examine the complaints on priority and ensure their resolution within a stipulated timeframe. He emphasised that every case should be dealt with sensitively and that eligible complainants should receive relief in accordance with the rules. Pathak instructed officials to understand the seriousness of each grievance and ensure that the disposal of complaints was not merely procedural but effective and satisfactory. Download the TOI App.
