An AMC official said, “The days are warm and the nights cool. Ahmedabad: Monsoon may have long been gone and the city may be standing on the threshold of winter, but dengue cases continue to bug Amdavadis. People are still using water coolers and air conditioners, hence there is stagnant water for mosquitoes to breed. Citizens are being informed about changing the water regularly, commercial units and construction sites where mosquito breeding has been detected are being sealed. AMC is taking all precautionary measures. Dengue cases are especially high in Gota, Jagatpur, Chandkheda, Bodakdev and Thaltej, besides Vastral, Lambha, and Nikol.
