Damaged Pajero
Bengaluru : Police have issued a notice to a woman who, on Oct 28, rammed her SUV into an eatery near Bannerghatta, injuring three men. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (KA -05-MR-3925) was driven by Sajina Begum, wife of Safrulla Abdul Aziz, a businessman hailing from Keralam and resident of Electronics City Phase I, according to an FIR registered with Bannerghatta police. Aziz claimed he had paid around Rs 75,000 towards the medical expenses of the injured ones.
Also, she promised to look after the medical expenses of the injured; but so far, nothing happened and therefore, I am filing the complaint,” Paramesh said.
In her statement, Begum told cops that she felt giddy when the vehicle came near ‘Halevuru kebab centre’ on CK Palya Road and, in a state of confusion, pressed the accelerator instead of brakes. After two days of treatment, the injured men were discharged from the hospital, police said. A senior police officer said Sajina Begum and Safrulla Abdul Aziz were regularly purchasing kebab from the same shop. Matter will be clear once Sajina appears before us and gives a statement,” he said.
Gaining sudden speed, the SUV entered into the kebab centre and rammed into the materials, including a vessel containing hot oil. The oil spilled on worker Basavaraj and customers Munikrishna and Manjesh, causing minor burn injuries. Also, a couple of motorbikes placed outside the kebab centre were damaged. The complaint was filed by Paramesh A, whose bike was damaged in the mishap. “Soon after the accident, the woman had promised to pay the expenses towards the repair of my motorbike. “That day too, they had come to buy kebab, but the accident took place.
