Kolkata : Hastings cops have launched a probe following the theft of four mobile phones belonging to members of a theatre group from a makeup room at Sisir Mancha on Aug 23. The incident prompted the group to approach cops after the venue authorities failed to provide assistance.
Secretary of Barrackpore Karubash Theatre Group, immediately following the conclusion of their first play, three female performers returned to the makeup room around 7 pm and discovered their bags had been tampered with, according to a complaint lodged by Arghyadeep Banerjee.
