Heavy rains caused significant waterlogging across Delhi and Gurugram on Tuesday.
However, one of the videos shared by Chowdhury showing water dripping inside the Parliament building dates back to August 2024. Delhi received heavy rainfall of 7-11 cm on Tuesday, according to the India Meteorological Department.

Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary and MP Randeep Singh Surjewala criticised the BJP-led Haryana government and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini over waterlogging and traffic congestion in Gurugram following heavy rainfall.
