New Delhi: Three people, including a DTC bus driver and a Delhi Cantonment Board dump truck driver, were injured after their vehicles collided near the red light after crossing Delhi Cantt Flyover towards Dhaula Kuan Wednesday morning.
The injured dump truck driver has been identified as Pritam (26), who suffered head injuries. The injured bus driver has been identified as Kashmiri Singh (45), who suffered a fracture in his leg. Sanoj (28), who was in the dump truck, was also injured. A PCR call was received around 8.23 am at Delhi Cantt police station about a road accident involving a dump truck and a DTC bus near Thiraiya Red Light. Police found that Pritam, Sanoj and Roshan (18) were travelling in the dump truck.

“The three people are workers engaged with the Delhi Cantonment Board and were carrying out their routine duty at the time of the accident,” said a senior police officer. Police said that the passengers travelling in the DTC bus were found safe. Another police officer added that the bus was trying to cut a red light at the time of the incident. Download the TOI App.
