With the global launch, Adobe said Firefly Boards aims to become: The wider industry impact

Adobe has announced the global rollout of Firefly Boards, its AI-first collaborative platform for brainstorming and content creation.

The service, which was earlier available in beta, brings together models from Adobe and partners including Google, Runway, Luma AI, Black Forest Labs, and Moonvalley.

The platform already supports models such as Luma AI’s Ray, Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, Veo 3, and Pika.

With the global launch, Adobe said Firefly Boards aims to become a central hub for ideation and iteration, combining AI models, creative tools, and collaboration in a single platform. As part of the launch, Adobe has added two generative video models — Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey. These expand the options available for creators, who can now use Firefly Boards to generate storyboards, motion clips, and visual narratives in one place.

Alongside the product updates, Adobe is introducing new Firefly subscription plans. These will be available as Standard, Pro, and Premium tiers, offering different generative credit capacities. All plans include unlimited canvases, access to partner models, and integration with applications like Photoshop (web and mobile) and Adobe Express Premium. Creative Cloud Pro members will continue to have access to premium Firefly features.

Firefly Boards also introduces three new features aimed at simplifying creative workflows. Presets allow users to generate images in various styles, such as product mockups or character designs, with a single click. Generative Text Edit (beta) lets users modify text within visuals directly inside Boards. Describe Image provides auto-generated prompts based on existing images, making it easier to refine or recreate visuals.
