I collaborate with colleagues, planning our next business trip on a modern booking platform.
Booking.com has announced new features for its business travel platform in India, including GST invoicing support and enhanced tools for managing budgets, itineraries and traveller safety. The updates are aimed at start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises, which often rely on multiple booking systems and manual processes to organise travel. The platform brings accommodation and flight bookings together on one dashboard, allowing companies to set spending limits, monitor travel activity and define policies for employees. Businesses can provide GST details, access tax-compliant invoices, set accommodation budget caps by city or country and use selected payment options. Integrated safety tools allow companies to monitor itineraries and traveller locations. An expense-management feature in the mobile app uses artificial intelligence to help employees photograph receipts and prepare expense reports. “India’s business travel landscape is at an inflection point. It brings the familiarity, breadth of choice and intuitive booking experience that travellers know from Booking.com to business travel. As part of Booking.com’s Connected Trip vision, we are making it easier for businesses and employees to navigate their corporate travel through a seamless, efficient and connected travel experience. Business travel continues to evolve and striking the right balance between organisational needs and traveller expectations becomes increasingly important. Through Booking.com for Business, we aim to make that balance easier to achieve.”
As companies grow, they are increasingly looking for solutions that offer greater flexibility and visibility while meeting the evolving expectations of today’s workforce.
