An Indian family enjoys a luxurious hotel stay in Abu Dhabi, with a ‘Visa Fee Covered’ notification adding to their relaxed joy.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has partnered with MakeMyTrip to cover the applicable UAE entry visa fee for eligible Indian travellers booking hotel stays in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE entry visa remains subject to approval by the relevant authorities. Travellers should check passport validity, documentation requirements and applicable conditions before making arrangements. The visa fee coverage does not necessarily include other government charges or travel-related costs.
The partnership is valid for eligible hotel bookings made for travel through October 31, 2026. The initiative is aimed at encouraging longer stays by reducing one of the costs associated with international travel. Travellers will need to meet the eligibility requirements and complete their bookings through the specified platform to avail themselves of the fee coverage. Abu Dhabi has increasingly focused on attracting visitors from India, one of the key markets for travel to the UAE. The emirate offers a mix of cultural attractions, museums, beaches, entertainment venues and family-oriented experiences, although travellers will need to account for other expenses, including flights, accommodation, meals, local transport and insurance. Further details regarding qualifying stays, booking conditions and the visa application process will be available at the time of booking.
