Under the SDRF drought mitigation budget for 2026–2027, the corporation has allocated Rs 33.65 lakh for borewell maintenance in Kochadai, Rs 21.53 lakh for Melakkal, and Rs 37.68 lakh for Avaniyapuram and surrounding areas.
