Shivamogga: Escalating his attack on Congress-led state govt, BJP state president BY Vijayendra Friday declared that former minister B Nagendra is merely a “small fish” in the multi-crore Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation scam. Influential “big whales” are behind the operation and remain to be exposed, he told reporters. Vijayendra said BJP’s ongoing stir would not end with Nagendra’s resignation and demanded a full-scale probe into allegations that misappropriated funds were routed to the Congress high command.
Questioning the state govt’s decision to re-induct Nagendra into the cabinet without a clear clean chit, Vijayendra also condemned the delay in providing compensation and benefits to the family of deceased official Chandrashekhar.
