India Claims Test Series Victory
India secured a 1-0 series victory against Sri Lanka after winning the first Test in Galle by 165 runs. The second Test in Colombo concluded in a draw, solidifying India’s lead in the series.
They bowled Sri Lanka out for 290 after posting 503/9 declared, but the hosts fought back in their second innings to finish on 429/9 and save the match. Presenting the medal, India’s performance analyst Hari Prasad praised Krishna for his preparation and ability to keep challenging the Sri Lankan batters.
