Wearing a stunning purple lehenga designed by Punit Balana, the actress turned in an outfit that felt both royal and romantic while unapologetically maximalist. The unique silver-coloured embroidery created a rich heritage feel while still making the attire contemporary. The different elements brought together two different worlds, where one exuded the poised sensuality of the European corset, and the other carried the never-tiring grace and movement of the traditional Indian skirt. The highlight of the hour had to be the surface embellishments, where the designer used the unique chandi tilla technique. It is a traditional embroidery originating from Kashmir, which incorporates the use of silver threads to create intricate patterns. Styled by Lakshmi Lehr, Tripti accessorised the look with ear cuffs, bracelets, and a stack of rings designed by Golden Gazelle Fine Jewellery, along with heels designed by Aprajita Toor. On the beauty front, she used silver-shaded eye shadow to create a sparkling show that matched her lehenga’s work.
