Bengaluru: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) veterinary officers’ recruitment scam is widening, with many candidates reportedly confessing before Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and revealing details of the question paper leak, payments running into crores and exams purportedly being conducted at a villa in Devanahalli and other places.
The candidates who allegedly paid money have surrendered before CID, confessing to the irregularities and turning witnesses in the case, according to police. They reportedly told investigators they received the question paper before the examination and were made to write it at different locations, including a villa in Devanahalli. The statements of at least four candidates have been recorded so far.

CID searched Kannale’s residence at Vinayak Layout in Sanjaynagar after obtaining a search warrant from the court. Officials reportedly seized a CCTV DVR and several important documents. Investigators are examining Kannale’s communications with candidates and Gangwar, as well as financial transactions linked to the recruitment process. The house has reportedly been seized and handed over to the court as part of investigation.
