If visitors refuse to pay tips or refuse to visit the destinations they suggested, the drivers involve in rash driving and demand excess fare,” said Kerala Homestay and Tourism Society director M P Sivadattan. Two services will be conducted a day. The service between Fort Kochi and airport is a longstanding demand from homestay operators in Fort Kochi as taxi operators exploit tourists, especially foreigners, for the service. “Also, a KSRTC service is necessary for Munnar and Alappuzha since Fort Kochi-Munnar-Alappuzha-Fort Kochi is a major circular route for foreigners. The absence of KSRTC service results in exploitation of visitors by taxi operators. Download the TOI App.
