KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Thursday alleged that BJP workers attacked and vandalised the party’s office on Camac Street in Kolkata in the early hours of the morning, and demanded immediate action against those responsible.

The TMC leader further said: “If this is how the Opposition is to be treated in West Bengal, through violence, vandalism and intimidation, then the Chief Minister have no moral authority to remain in office. Describing the incident as political intimidation, Banerjee said: “This is not democracy. He must resign. This is political thuggery.”
