Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Swami Haridas Auditorium in Mathura on Thursday, just one day before Krishna Janmashtami. During the event, he distributed benefits to thousands of beneficiaries through various state and central welfare and livelihood schemes.
Cultural Venue Launch Accompanied by Housing Support Distribution
During a recent event, officials announced the launch of a new cultural venue alongside the distribution of financial assistance and housing approvals. A total of 7,240 beneficiaries received support under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 (Urban) and the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural). The chief minister presented sanction letters, certificates, cheques, and house keys to selected recipients, marking a significant step in housing initiatives.
A cultural programme by 51 artists from Shivaoham Productions depicted different emotions and forms associated with Lord Krishna through dance, choreographed by BHU-associated Kathak dancer Shivani Mishra. At the auditorium, a short film on the project’s construction and development was screened. The chief minister honoured saints with garlands, fruits and angavastram and interacted with students who recited mantras. Mathura MP and actor Hema Malini attended. Students of Hanuman Prasad Dhanuka School, Vrindavan, presented the national song.
