The Los Angeles Lakers lost to Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs 107-91 on Wednesday night, while LeBron James was sidelined. The 40-year-old became the first NBA player to play in his 23rd season after being diagnosed with a right-side sciatica injury. Due to right sciatica and left foot joint arthritis, the 41-year-old forward is labelled as questionable for Friday’s game. Due to several ailments, the four-time NBA champion forward was unable to play.
Due to “nerve irritation in his glute,” the 21-time All-Star was unable to play in preseason games or training camp. James would miss the whole preseason schedule in addition to a few games during the regular season for around three to four weeks, according to the final prognosis. But according to new reports, James took his time recuperating from the injury before beginning his 23rd NBA season.
LeBron James, the standout player for the Los Angeles Lakers, is doubtful ahead of the team’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks. James has sciatica on his right side and arthritis in his left foot joint. They may not be able to use James’s services in the future, which is bad news.
James’ status is still uncertain as the Lakers return to action on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks. As the Lakers aim to resume winning in their upcoming game, L.A. gave an important update on James’ injury on Thursday. James may not be able to play against the Bucks, the Lakers said on Thursday.
