Ramachandru said Koteshwar became enraged upon seeing him and attacked him with a knife. Thorrur sub-inspector G Upender said Koteshwar was arrested and taken to the Thorrur police station after Chandrakala lodged a complaint. During the ensuing scuffle, the constable sustained a stab injury to his left arm. He immediately alerted the Thorrur police station, following which his colleagues rushed to the spot and shifted him to a hospital. A case has been registered based on her complaint.
