Bengaluru: The Karnataka Association of Unaided School Managements (KAMS) has urged the state govt to resolve technical issues plaguing the Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS) within seven days and immediately stop what it termed “pressure, intimidation and harassment” of school staff over pending online work.
In a representation to the school education department, KAMS said teachers, headmasters, administrative staff and school managements were facing severe hardship due to repeated technical failures in SATS, including server outages, slowdowns, session expirations and failures while updating or submitting data. Because information entered into the system was not always retained, the association said teachers were being forced to repeat the same work. “Working until midnight” to complete SATS-related tasks had become a regular concern, it said, adding that the situation was affecting the physical and mental well-being of teachers. Download the TOI App.
