New Delhi: Nearly a year after vacating their flats at Signature View Apartments, residents have decided to approach the division bench of Delhi High Court , seeking directions for implementation of the court’s Sept 17, 2025 order and a clear timeline for demolition and reconstruction of the complex.
“Our only contention is that court orders must be respected and investigations should have a defined purpose, while 336 flat owners and around 1,200 family members cannot be left waiting indefinitely for their homes,” Jha said.
We have, however, no intention to interfere with any ongoing legitimate investigation or judicial proceeding,” said Amarendra Jha, a resident. The residents said their demand was limited to ensuring that the court order was implemented and the process moved forward within a defined timeframe. “We will also seek a time-bound roadmap for demolition and reconstruction and measures to prevent further escalation of expenditure from public funds.
