New Delhi: All govt, govt-aided and private schools in Delhi will remain closed on Sept 11 in view of the BRICS Summit , according to an order issued by the Directorate of Education (DoE).

The order states, “All offices and schools under the Directorate of Education (including govt aided and unaided recognised private schools) shall observe Holiday on Sept 11”.

The 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit will be held at Bharat Mandapam from Sept 11 to 13. The three-day gathering is expected to see the participation of leaders from around 30 BRICS member and partner countries, besides heads of international organisations and representatives from the business community.
